Survey Data Associate Jobs

Experience with developing complex sample designs

Experience with developing sampling weights, non-response adjustment, and weight calibrations

Advanced knowledge of sampling variance, sampling inference, applied sampling strategies, design based and design assisted analysis

Strong SAS, SUDAAN, Stata, R or Python programming skills

Working knowledge of the total survey error paradigm, models of survey response, cognitive and social aspects of survey measurement

Strong writing, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills

Populates databases and assists with metadata creation and management for DGS spatial data and publications.

Effective written and oral communication skills along with strong organizational skills.

Conducts inventory and organization of legacy datasets.

Assists the senior investigators with preparation of proposals for external funding and preparation of contact reports and project deliverables.

Along with the senior investigators, supervises and directs students, hourly-paid employees, and interns.

Supports other DGS field- and office-based projects as necessary.

Support pipeline modeling and forecasting for new prospect management.

Raiser’s Edge Data Management – 50%

Portfolios & Relationship Management Support – 25%

Manage input and extraction of data in the database. Run reports regularly or upon request.

Experience working in Raiser’s Edge or other relevant fundraising CRM software

Excellent organizational skills: ability to work productively in a fast-paced environment and ability handle multiple tasks simultaneously

Collaborate with the clinical sites, laboratory services, IT and project managers to identify, prevent and resolve problems

Bachelor’s degree or higher in related field or equivalent combination of education and experience

Possess adequate M365 Microsoft skills, specifically Word, Outlook, Excel, Teams, and OneNote

Able to work in a Hybride and/or Remote environment

Offshore experience in geophysical data processing

Python or other programming abilities

Manage internally benchmarking initiatives as well as take proactive steps on emerging issues

Work closely with clients to understand their needs and research goals, manage their expectations, and continuously support survey development

Manage several concurrent tasks and deliverables to meet the goals of the larger project

Ensure full compliance with all contract requirements, schedules, and provisions

Intermediate level skills with Python (or other languages), XML, HTML, JavaScript, and CSS

Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to learn things quickly in a challenging environment and think outside the box

Required Qualifications, Knowledge, and Skills:

Code, manage and deliver web-based surveys in Decipher, a FocusVision solution (similar to Qualtrics)

Minimum of 2 years of professional work experience, preferably with a focus in areas such as research, strategy or programming

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in Engineering, Computer Science, Statistics, Operations Research or a similar technical field.

Preferred, not essential: Experience in survey coding

Preferred, not essential: Experience in drafting and designing market surveys

Effective oral and written communication skills.

Call center experience (preferred, but not required).

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel and Outlook) and Windows 10.

Strong keyboarding skills, coupled with the ability to talk and type simultaneously.

Strong listening and interactional skills, and the ability to work with and communicate with diverse

Be adept at working with multiple software applications synchronously.

Previous work experience in a Chief Data Organization

Investment Banking or Financial Services Industry experience

Data Quality writing, identification of Key Data Elements

VMS System # (if applicable):

Knowledge of questionnaire development, survey management and documentation, experience with descriptive and multivariate statistical models using complex survey designs

At least two years of full-time work experience with data analysis and survey development and management

Experience in data quality control and data management of survey data

Strong technical skills, including word processing, spreadsheets and database management

Knowledge of research protocols and documentation required by the Institutional Review Board (IRB)

Experience with analyzing weighted survey data and particularly longitudinal weighted data analysis preferred
