Experience in the hospitality industry or guest services is preferred, but not required

Must have great customer service skills – all of our positions come into contact with guests!

Change all dirty bed linens

Ensure that all assigned rooms are clean and ready to be checked into

Reports any maintenance concerns to management.

Prior professional cleaning experience preferred

Cleaning of guest rooms to include dusting, vacuuming, changing bed linens and cleaning bathrooms.

Ensures all guest room items are in good repair.

Cleans assigned public hallways including light fixtures, handrails and vacuuming/stain treating of carpets.

Deep cleaning of guest rooms and public areas as required.

Prepare reports for management information.

Responsible for cleanliness, orderliness and appearance of the entire Hotel.

Ensure that rooms are made as per company standard.

Maintain par stock of guest supplies, cleaning supplies, linen and uniform.

Organize inventories with Accounts and General Store for linen, uniform and fixed assets.

Pay particular attention while organizing pest eradication activities.

Interviews and hires management and hourly employees with the appropriate skills to meet the business needs of the operation.

Proven track record of managing and developing teams, both hourly and management

Manages areas of operation to budget by reviewing P&L, budget worksheets and payroll.

Manages department controllable expenses and cost per occupied room to achieve or exceed budgeted goals.

Develops goals and expectations for direct report managers.

Manages employee progressive discipline procedures for areas of responsibility.
