Proven experience as a Mail Clerk or office clerk

Sign for incoming registered or certified mail

Sort mail by department, location or category (e.g. bills, notices, personal)

Stamp and record date of receipt and sender’s name

Keep records of incoming packages, including their weight, return address and description

Collect and prepare correspondence to be mailed (e.g. applying appropriate stamps, verifying addresses)

Strong skills in technology and software to effectively monitor and operate in-stream print and complex mail processing system.

Good interpersonal skills for interactions with co-workers and customers.

Ability to comprehend and follow job instructions.

Ability to think logically with superior reading and visual acuity.

Ability to accept supervision, follow instructions, and work in a harmonious manner with co-workers and supervisors.

Associate’s degree or comparable industry certification and experience

1-3 years of related work experience

Experienced and confident with general information technology (MS Office, Google Suite) and graphic design software (Adobe Creative Suite)

Experienced and confident with Mail & Print technologies and equipment, especially commercial-scale printers and cutting/binding equipment

Has high ethical standards and exemplary customer service skills are mandatory

Printing or visual design background preferred

Works with management to reduce company costs/wastes, and to optimize profitability in areas of responsibility.

May assist fellow team members in training and skill development

Take customer orders, give pricing information, perform consultative selling to customers, and explain the benefits of digital printing technology to customers

High School Diploma or equivalent education required

Minimum six months of related experience required (Warehouse and/or Hospitality Experience Preferred)

Proven strong organization and planning skills

Work with management to resolve production problems and bottlenecks to ensure efficiency and prevent delays & customer dissatisfaction.

Ability and experience to independently self-manage, absent of leaderships direct oversight.
