What does the Merchandise Manager do?

Ensures Merchandise Movement Process is flawlessly executed

Responsible for merchandising, signing, and resets in Now, Style, Room, Tech, and Party

Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university teacher education program.

Working knowledge of relevant technology.

Mental Functions, Physical Requirements, and Working Conditions:

Arkansas teacher’s license appropriate for level and/or subject area assignment.

Performs other related duties as assigned.

Primary Location PARKVIEW ARTS/SCIENCE MAGNET HIGH SCHOOL

Minimum 3-5 of wholesale sales experience including prior experience in eyewear

Outstanding written and verbal communication skills

Build and cultivate relationships through extensive outreach to potential and current accounts

Drive growth of existing accounts while delivering exceptional customer service

Travel to current and prospective accounts throughout sales territory, including trade shows

Meet and exceed sales quotas and revenue targets

Highly organized / strong time management skills

Build, manage, lead and inspire a high-performing sales team to achieve near and long term growth targets

Manage up and down to strategically connect the team goal with the bigger picture at the Org and Company level

2+ years or demonstrated leadership experience in a supervisory team lead role

Prior experience with subscription services a plus

Strong interpersonal skills / team player

Ability to input customer information into a CRM (Customer Relationship Management) system.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Able to promote a secure work environment with alignment to ISO document handling & retention requirements.

Moderate experience with Microsoft Outlook and Excel.

Comfort working with computers (entering data, using electronic file folders, converting documents).

Ability to analyze customer data within orders and sales agreements.

Part-Time Shifts: Mon-Thurs 4:30-8:30pm, Fri 11am-3pm, Sat 10am-2pm PST

Flexible scheduling (minimum of 16 hrs per week - 4 full shifts)

Mandatory paid training: Monday 5/8 AND Tuesday 5/9 both 3-9pm PST
