Daily ordering, management and review of police reports as assigned.

Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel) knowledge

Attend and/or present at roundtables/ authority discussions for collaboration of technical expertise resulting in improved recovery and expense management outcomes.

Actively and enthusiastically share experience and knowledge of creative resolution techniques to improve the claim results of others.

Utilize diary management system to ensure that all claims are handled timely.

Extensive working level knowledge and skill in various business line products.

Bachelor's Degree preferred. 10+ years claim handling experience with 5+ years experience handling serious injury and complex liability claims required.

Excellent negotiation and customer service skills.

Performs clerical duties, including data entry, filing paper documents, email, calendar management, and word processing

Investigate prior losses and other information on file and orders reports as needed at the directions of adjusters and management

Good organization skills with timely follow up skills

Good oral and written communications skills

Knowledge for Excel and Word

Handles property claim files (locates/requests files, files paperwork, reconstructs missing files, moves misfiled documents send to other offices etc.

Proactive recruitment of talent; work with management establishing and implementing a strategic staffing strategy.

Work with management to develop and implement effective training, performance development and succession planning.

Develop and execute a strategic file management plan that achieves optimal file resolution and business results.

Effective retention planning; proactively manage and respond to turnover.

Review new notices, ensuring claims are assigned to staff with appropriate skill sets.

Implement strategies and initiatives to improve file quality, customer service and manage costs.
