Overview Submarine Electronics is a specialized field of engineering that focuses on the design, installation, and maintenance of electronic systems and components used in submarines. Submarine Electronics Engineers are responsible for ensuring that all electronic systems and components are functioning properly and safely, and that they are able to withstand the extreme pressures and temperatures found in underwater environments. Detailed Job Description Submarine Electronics Engineers are responsible for designing, installing, and maintaining electronic systems and components used in submarines. This includes designing and developing new systems and components, as well as troubleshooting and repairing existing systems and components. They must also be able to work with a variety of materials, including metals, plastics, and composites. Submarine Electronics Engineers must be able to work in a variety of environments, including underwater, and must be able to work with a variety of tools and equipment.
