Staff Firmware Qa Engineer Jobs

Experienced in Python test automation libraries and industry tools.

Deep knowledge of firmware development life cycle, software in the loop, hardware in the loop (HIL)

Experienced in version control (Git) and continuous integration.

Test driven development experience using unit testing, automation testing, software in the loop, and hardware in the loop methodologies.

Previous working experience with building automation infrastructure such as Robot framework.

Experience with STM32 family MCU and developing tool chains such as STM32CubeMX and IAR embedded workbench

10+ years of software development experience in a test driven environment

Extensive experience with one of the following languages: C, C++, Go, Rust

Manage in a cross-functional team through initial specification, development, design reviews, virtual commissioning, installation, buy-offs, and start of production.

BS/MS Software Engineering (or equivalent – Majors in: Data Sciences, etc) or Applicable work experience

Experience Designing software for streaming mechanisms: Kakfa, RabitMQ, JetStream, etc

Experience Designing DB schemas, and interfaces: ScyllaDB, Cassandra, CockroachDB, etc

At least 6 years related experience, or the equivalent combination of graduate-level education and experience required.

Experience developing in C and C++ in a real time embedded environment

RTOS experience, such as SMX, SafeRTOS, etc.

Strong knowledge in hardware software interface, digital and analog circuits.

Experience with device drivers, bootloader, secure boot, software hardware interfaces, device communication on embedded systems.

Have prior experience with Linux kernel and device driver

Utilizing Lambda for new development and maintenance of manual test plans/test cases managed in TestRail

Participate in knowledge sharing sessions, and present test engineering solutions to others

Become an authority on Web, Mobile Web, Native Application, API/Backend, ADA compliance testing

Help define and drive testing process with Confluence across multiple platforms and teams

Partner closely with Development and Product teams to groom, estimate, plan and drive sprint deliverables using Postman and Confluence

Test all components of Web, Mobile Web, Native Application, API/Database using Postman and Lambda

Experience with a test management tool and bug tracking system (e.g., TestRail and Jira)

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or related discipline. Relevant experience can be substituted for education.

BA/BS Degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline, or 4+ years of related practical experience.
