Researches and gains knowledge of subject matter that facilitates speaking extemporaneously and providing immediate non-scripted analysis/commentary.

Strong knowledge of all FCC rules and regulations

3+ years of on-air radio experience required

Performs news, talk, music, comedic or other format shows or program for broadcast entertainment.

Establishes relationship with listeners by providing entertainment and/or information of interest consistent with format, genre, and targeted demographic audience.

Interviews guests, moderates debates, converses with callers, and hosts live events.

Coordinate and manage the entire podcast production process, from ideation to execution.

Plan and organize podcast recording sessions, ensuring a smooth and professional experience for all participants.

Enhance audio clarity, remove background noise, and ensure a consistent audio experience across episodes.

Manage the distribution of podcast episodes across various platforms, ensuring timely and consistent releases.

Proven experience in podcast production, news radio, and/or audio production.

Excellent verbal communication and interviewing skills, with the ability to engage guests and audiences effectively.

Exceptional communication skills, both verbally and in writing, with the ability to articulate thoughts clearly and concisely.

Previous experience in podcasting, broadcasting, or public speaking is preferred but not mandatory.

Conduct thorough research on sports-related topics, current events, and recent developments to provide well-informed discussions.

Collaborate with the existing host and production team to plan and structure podcast episodes, ensuring a seamless and captivating flow.

Participate in pre-show preparation, including brainstorming session topics, guest interviews, and potential segment ideas.

Engage with the audience by soliciting feedback, questions, and suggestions for future episodes via social media platforms or other communication channels.

Proven experience as a podcast host or a strong passion for podcasting

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a knack for conducting engaging interviews and conversations

Strong research abilities to generate insightful questions and content ideas

Plan, host, and produce engaging podcast episodes that align with our company's vision and target audience

Conduct thorough research and prepare compelling interview questions to engage guests and create thought-provoking discussions

Collaborate with the content team to develop episode concepts, themes, and scripts

2 episodes per week during the season

Promote as much as possible on your own social media channels

Social media presence and/or personality on radio/tv
