Special Events Director Jobs in Nevada

Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Gaming, Event Management & Planning or related area or equivalent leadership experience.

Four (4) years of prior special events, advertising or entertainment experience.

Must have experience in the following areas: gaming regulations in relation to tournament practices, décor planning, set up direction.

Collaborate with corporate and property staff on entertainment, décor and theme creation of New Year’s Eve and Chinese New Year Galas.

Collaborate with Entertainment and International Marketing leadership to drive Far East and other international-themed concerts in Las Vegas.

Partner with Corporate Casino Marketing to assist with the creation and maintenance of the Corporate Special Event calendar.

Basic PC skills complete working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word programs.

Manage and maintain creative files of all digital media players throughout the property by using the Signalive program.

Coordinates and execution of promotions, tournaments, concerts and other special events with the Special Events Manager and other departments.

One year of marketing or promotional experience required.

Two years gaming experience preferred.

Strong organizational, written and verbal communication skills.

Ensure all lost and found articles are immediately turned into Management

Clerical/labor work (scoring keeping, operates office equipments, data entry, filing, operate photography camera, printers, gift assembly, folding shirts, etc…).

At least one year previous event experience preferred.

Mandatory testing on restaurant menu knowledge (Information will be provided)

Provide excellent customer service when working with guests at events.

Must be able to interact well with internal and external guests and work as a team.
