5 years minimum fundraising for special events from strategic planning through execution

Lead strategic planning, development, and execution of memorable flagship IRL and virtual experiences for the Matter community.

Support Matter’s overall community and brand goals. Ensure that both online and offline experiences support a consistent message and brand experience.

Creating event structure and processes that enable profound, personal experiences for large and diverse communities of people.

Remote-first work environment: work out of our Boulder, CO office, or wherever else

We’d love to hear about your experience:

Managing internal and external teams to deliver successful creative productions at scale with and/or for brands and agencies.

Bachelor's degree in event management, marketing, or related field. Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) qualification preferred.

Proven experience in event management, with a track record of organizing successful conferences, meetings, and other events.

Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to mentor, coach, and develop staff.

Exceptional project management abilities and an organized approach to multi-tasking.

Provide direct management and mentorship to the Manager of Event Production, overseeing their work and supporting their professional development.

Excellent negotiation skills and deep experience with vendor and contractor agreements.
