Engineer systems to meet requirements of industrial guidelines including UL, NEC, NFPA, and OSHA

For the fall semester we are hiring Electrical Engineering Co-ops with the following skill sets:

Learn to use business systems to design, procure, commission, and document automated material handling systems

Work with cross-functional team members, providing engineering support to resolve well-defined technical problems

Pursuing an Electrical Engineering degree with a graduation date no later than 2026

Must be able to participate in a co-op prior to completing current degree program

Use engineering experience for a mix of product development, improvement, and testing

Utilize your engineering capabilities to support projects in a variety of markets

For the fall semester we are hiring Mechanical Engineering Co-ops with the following skill sets:

Design components and sub-systems that form parts of complex systems

Analyze data to determine if design meets function and performance specifications

Create and maintain items and BOM structure

Software/Technical Skills: Advanced Excel skills, SQL, and some knowledge of statistical analysis. Tableau experience is preferred but not required.

Help the BI team with project management, ensuring projects are delivered on time and meet the needs of our internal stakeholders.

Assist the department with consumer insights research by analyzing survey data and researching third-party syndicated research data.

Assist the Business Strategy department with other duties as assigned.

Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Business, Analytics, Data Science, or a related field.

Experience in big data frameworks (e.g., Spark/Hadoop/Flink), experience in resource management and task scheduling for large scale distributed systems.

Proficient in C/C++/Python, and have solid programming skills.

Experience in developing and deploying large-scale systems.

Good communication and teamwork skills to clearly communicate technical concepts with other teammates.

Experience contributing to an open sourced machine learning framework (TensorFlow/PyTorch).

Demonstrated software engineering experience from previous internship, work experience, coding competitions, or publications

Conduct complex training needs assessments for Sales, Service, Delivery, and Collision employees, including root-cause analysis to understand performance gaps

Consult with business partners to understand the strategic business roadmap, and recommend training solutions based on identified needs

Experience in programming projects in software platforms, ideally survey projects using survey software platforms (e.g. Qualtrics, Medallia)

Experience with supervised machine learning and building sentiment analysis query strings

Collaborate with IT Applications Developers to automate data projects between systems

Build reporting and dashboards in systems

Optimize tools to extract the most critical insights for various internal audiences

Perform construction administration tasks with oversight from experienced staff

Survey and evaluate existing conditions with oversight from experienced staff

Competent interpersonal and communication skills when interacting with others, expressing ideas effectively and professionally to an engineering and non-engineering audience.

Capable of taking direction from leadership, mentors, and managers to executive projects.

Experience using AutoCAD and/or Revit

Work with multi-discipline project teams to develop drawing and specification documents for issuance to architects, contractors and building owners.

Shadowing Full Time Account Specialists to strengthen task management and team collaboration skills.

Experience working with teams remotely via Zoom and Slack
