12 months of Phlebotomy experience required with demonstrated ability to work independently.

Interpret data and make recommendations and reach decisions based on data and management input.

Determine environmental monitoring locations and qualification requirements for aseptic facility modifications and new facilities.

Review and approval of environmental monitoring data and approval of data in Laboratory Information Management System for lot release.

Demonstrated experience in industrial and/or aseptic pharmaceutical production environment, technical knowledge of aseptic processing and sanitization

Basic computer skills, such as data entry, with a high level of attention to detail, are also required

Excellent effective written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills

Participate as a member of the Quality Management Team

Understanding of purchasing system and requirements for purchasing items

Basic computer skills(Microsoft office, Outlook, etc. )

Starting pay of $24.00/hr. up to top pay of $33.87/hr.*

Additional shift differential for off-shifts

Perform physically demanding manufacturing duties including: repetitive processes, moderate to heavy lifting, the use of machinery, and following standardized work procedures

Demonstrate time-management, organization, and prioritization skills

Perform miscellaneous other duties as assigned by Supervisor or Management.

Experience working with various types of test equipment and have knowledge to conduct Hi-pot tests safely.

Residential or commercial electrical education or certifications

1+ years experience in test & troubleshooting on similar electrical equipment

Strong Analytical skills to perform point to point or sequence of operation checks.

Must have inspection and/or test experience working on various types of electrical distribution equipment such as those mentioned above.

Manages the calibration database for the facility

Manages and coordinates external calibration of electronic equipment in a timely manner

Experience with SPC, Quality Improvement Programs and ISO fundamentals preferred

Plans and performs calibration of plant measurement equipment within company required specifications; makes operating adjustments as required

Support Research and purchase gauging as requested to support new product/process development

Obtains quotes for needed equipment repairs, replacement gaging

Basic computer knowledge and data entry skills

Scan and/or data entry of specimen and patient information

Previous medical/lab or production experience is preferred

Strong communication skills; both written and verbal

Receive and sort clinical lab specimens

Prepare specimens for testing and analysis

Associate Degree (or equivalent related work experience)

3-5 years of related work experience

Good oral and written communication skills

Electrical and mechanical equipment experience preferred

Able to read, understand, and communicate procedural requirements

2 years of quality or manufacturing experience in medical device industry

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Knowledge of various nontechnical needs of a laboratory, usually acquired from a combination of previous work experience and/or schooling

Knowledge of aseptic technique and other lab techniques (micro/viro)

Knowledge of basic laboratory testing procedures, laboratory precautions, and use and care of common laboratory equipment

Knowledge of instruments, methods and materials used in a hospital laboratory

An Associate's Degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or equivalent preferred w/1-3 years of experience.

ASCP or AMT certification is required

CA State certification is required
