Senior Supplier Quality Electrical Engineer Jobs

Understanding of project management(experience preferred)

Aide Manufacturing in the evaluation and qualification of new supplier materials following a defined new product development process

Other duties as assigned by the Manager

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE (required Levels)

Maintaining constant communication with supplier to ensure all quality requirements are being meet. Example: Heat Cert, DoC, packaging standard.

Coordinate with Supply Chain (local and/or global) & Engineer on new component supplier qualifications and any new supplier approval.

Manage the New Supplier approval process according to the QMS.

6+ years total working experience in electrical engineering in progressively responsible roles.

Embedded control circuit design experience.

Design and layout of PCB board experience.

A proven track-record with reference-able case studies in Electrical Engineering projects.

Must have most of the following:

Coach Supplier Operations Team members on Quality Management System requirements and best practices

Minimum of 15 years of experience managing multiple installations and commissioning generator plants ranging from 100KW to 50MW.

Experience in designing, installing, and commissioning generator plants ranging from 100kW to 50MW.

Excellent oral and written skills.

Design controls for generator plants to include switchgear, transfer switches, fuel system, support equipment, and monitoring.

Design and specify generator systems and power distribution equipment.

PLC and HMI programming to include Siemens, GE, Allen Bradley, and Automation Direct.

Minimum 8 years of experience in design of power distribution systems, fire alarm systems, low voltage/IT systems, lighting and controls;

Experience with LEED and/or WELL Certified Projects (LEED AP/WELL AP a plus)

Significant Lighting Design experience or Lighting Certified a plus;

Solid Revit experience strongly preferred;

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Minimum of 15 years of experience, preferably in a design firm setting
