5 years of proven HR experience and achievements in a mid-level generalist/HRBP capacity, along with previous HR operations management experience.

Provides performance management advisement to managers and employees in accordance with policies, procedures, and compliance.

Ensures New Hire Experience (onboarding) process is understood and followed by hiring managers and new hires.

Provides People advisory service to managers ensuring compliance with organizational policies and procedures & guides managers through cyclical HR processes.

Coaches and mentors’ managers on employee performance issues, including progressive discipline approaches, having difficult conversations and documentation in a timely manner.

Provides and makes recommendations to COE Leads and managers regarding morale, motivation, or at-risk talent.

Excellent time management and organizational skills

Provide day-to-day guidance to the management team regarding P&C policies, procedures, legislation, coaching, counseling, career development, employee relations and performance management

Ensure best in class P&C on-boarding experience to all new employees

In collaboration with the Operations Manager participate in regular Health & Safety committee meetings

Support site Operations Manager in investigating and reporting workplace injuries and incidents, including recommendation to prevent reoccurrence

Three (3) to five (5) years’ experience in a Generalist, advisor or Business Partner function

Create comprehensive construction documents and handle construction administration including but not limited RFIs and Submittal

Develop creative solutions to save cost and reduce schedule timelines.

Provide management guidance by preparing, updating, and recommending people-centric policies

You will undertake tasks in performance management along with the promotion process

Establish contacts with management and staff by being visible and actively engaging with them

You’re an effective communicator and problem solver with a four-year degree in Human Resources Management or related major

Great organization skills, detailed-orientated, you manage your time well, and you stand behind your work

Familiarity with HR databases, applicant tracking systems and candidate management systems is a big plus
