Senior Inventory Cost Accountant Jobs

Provide management with reports that specify and compare factors that affect prices and profitability of products or services.

5+ years of Cost Accounting Manufacturing work experience.

Experience with a NetSuite is a plus.

Analytical thinker with strong conceptual and problem-solving skills.

Meticulous attention to detail with superb organizational skills.

Detail and priority oriented in time management and organization

Excel, ADP, Microsoft Dynamics knowledge is a plus

Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills required with ability to articulate complex concepts into clear and concise content

Provide accounting support on sales by reviewing financial information, converting data to ERP, and obtaining additional information for preparing financials

Maintains data and determines cost standards for all products

Records entries, including but not limited to: Efficiency variance, cost of sales, cycle counts, warranty and purchase price variance

·Strong analytical and time management skills, with close attention to detail

·Create budgeting reports for different company's departments and present them to senior management.

·Develop cost-effective solutions and present them to senior management.

·Retrieve cost information and manage company's expenses databases.

·3+ years' experience of working on a Cost Accountant, Cost Analyst, Accountant, or similar position.

·Significant experience with accounting procedures.

Work closely with other functional areas and business management to resolve issues

Represent Finance/Accounting on team meetings to improve processes and reduce cost

At least 3+ years of progressive previous experience in cost accounting, G/L, inventory required

Advanced MS Excel skills (familiarity with VLOOKUPs and pivot tables)

Monitor and perform analysis on key cost of goods sold and inventory general ledger accounts

Support the inventory process; landed cost, labor, raw material and BOM costing
