Senior Inventory Cost Accountant Jobs in Texas

· Larger ERP experience and strong Excel Skills (Vlookups, Pivot Table)

· 3+ years of Cost Accounting Experience

· Excellent analytical skills and ability to work with complex costing

· Perform manufacturing cost accounting activities including inventory reconciliation, standard cost reviews, and analysis of manufacturing variances

· Perform standard cost reviews and analysis

· Develop, maintain, and review standard costs of material

Develop and implement inventory-related policies and procedures to ensure compliance with accounting principles, company policies, and regulatory requirements

Assist with other accounting and finance-related activities as needed

At least 5 years of experience in accounting, must have experience in inventory accounting and reporting

Strong knowledge of accounting principles related to inventory, including cost accounting and inventory valuation

Experience with Netsuite and Advance Excel

Identify opportunities for process improvements related to inventory accounting and reporting, and work with cross-functional teams to implement changes

Detail and priority oriented in time management and organization

Excel, ADP, Microsoft Dynamics knowledge is a plus

Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills required with ability to articulate complex concepts into clear and concise content

Provide accounting support on sales by reviewing financial information, converting data to ERP, and obtaining additional information for preparing financials

Maintains data and determines cost standards for all products

Records entries, including but not limited to: Efficiency variance, cost of sales, cycle counts, warranty and purchase price variance
