Senior Gis Analyst Jobs in Idaho

Proficiency with GIS desktop software (ArcGIS Pro 3.1+) and data management

Support training and skills transfer for other members of the GIS Team

Research and identify open source and commercial resources to augment and improve GIS offerings

4+ years of education and work history in GIS

Proven experience designing, developing, managing, and maintaining web mapping applications using ArcGIS Enterprise 10.9+

Experience managing and working with large data sets

Education: Bachelor’s degree in geographic information systems, geography, earth science, engineering, computer science, or related field.

Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in geographic information systems (GIS) or related industry.

Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively and prioritize projects of varying priority levels.

Perform mapping functions and maintain source datasets in the support, planning and development of utility-scale solar and storage projects.

Provide professional expertise and support to in-house staff and third-party vendors as needed.

Project management, planning, organization, and customer service skills

Assists with management of the Public Works asset management system and citys service request system (Cityworks)

Knowledge of and skills with:

Supports in the interpretation, digitization, acquisition, and processing of remotely sensed data, aerial photography, and satellite imagery

Analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills

Apply critical thinking and problem-solving skills to business needs
