Senior Engineering Logistics Coordinator Jobs

· Organized: Must be highly organized, can multi-task, has good time management skills, and attention to detail.

· Data entry of orders and third-party information in our proprietary TMS software

· Provide solutions and utilize problem-solving skills when issues arise

Strong knowledge of logistics and supply chain management principles and best practices. Vendor management or contract negotiation experience highly desired.

Bachelor's degree in business administration, logistics, supply chain management, or a related field, or equivalent work experience

Provide ad hoc reporting on a monthly/quarterly basis for Management.

Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to logistics and supply chain management in the AV equipment industry.

Other duties assigned as assigned by Management.

Intermediate PC skills and working knowledge of Office Suite (Excel, Word)

Knowledge of NASA policy and procedures, including laboratory operation, configuration control/management, and safety & mission assurance.

Document closeout risks and report status to Logistics Lead and SOFIA Project Manager weekly.

High School Diploma and 7 years of related experience.

Excellent written and oral skills. Proactive communicator.

Knowledge of SOFIA technical and science systems, personnel, facilities, and aircraft operational environment.

Review project property for information on reuse, disposition and sale of property going through the excess process.

Experience using a variety of operating systems with knowledge of networking, connectivity, and internet protocol
