Manage the day-to-day monthly financial statement close process; deliver accurate and timely monthly financial results.

Identify and implement process improvements throughout the accounting and finance functions.

Manage Internal Controls and own documentation of processes and procedures.

Manage, mentor and train managers as well as other team members

Backed by 7–10 years of experience in an accounting leadership role at a public or private company

An expert in (and experienced with) month-end close procedures, operations, accruals, internal controls, foreign currency issues, and analytics

Directly oversee and supervise our general ledger functions, including corporate accounting and consolidation, retail, product margin, and treasury subfunctions

Lead external audit activities and audit preparation

Assist with the development, implementation, and documentation of internal controls

Prior integration experience in a lead or partner role would be a plus.

Build strong relationships and serve as a strategic advisor and an M&A liaison to the C-Suite.

Develop a robust acquisition pipeline and portfolio strategy.

Minimum a Bachelor’s degree; advanced business degree (MBA or equivalent) strongly preferred.

Experience leading teams (management and supervisory experience)

Manage the company’s banking relationships and organizational cash flow by working in partnership with the senior management team.

10+ years of experience, with a minimum of four (5) years of post-designation experience in a manager/director level capacity

Manage and supervise regional controllers to ensure consistent application of accounting policies and procedures.

Bachelor's degree in Accounting and or Finance

Experience with accounting and/or enterprise reporting systems

Strong leadership and people management abilities, with a track record of building and developing high-performing teams.

Support special projects and initiatives as assigned by executive management.

Minimum of 10 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 5 years in a managerial role.

Oversee and manage the day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll.

Manage the month-end and year-end close processes, including reconciliation of accounts, journal entries, and accruals.

Collaborate with external auditors to ensure successful completion of audits and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Prior supervisory and management experience

Manage the GL preparing any adjusting entries

Prior public accounting/big 4 experience preferred

Excellent communication and presentation skills

Preparing/reviewing the monthly consolidated financial statements

Lead and review the month end close

Be actively engaged in advising management on acquisitions from financial and tax due diligence through integration

Proven success with building scalable processes and effective project management aimed at achieving measurable results

Proactively manage direct and indirect tax matters

Assess business models and proposal to ensure accounting in accordance with US GAAP and SEC reporting requirements

Motivate and develop a high performing teams

Be a trusted partner across cross-functional teams
