Over 5+ years as a Senior Buyer or Purchasing Lead.

Concentration in Supply Chain Management, Finance, or Law

Coordinates with Project Management, Construction Management, Business Development, Legal, Finance and Insurance during project execution

Accountable to the Project Procurement Manager, Project Management, the project Buyer or other designated Supply Management project lead

Effectiveness of relationships with suppliers, management

Works with project personnel to plan and support Supply Management execution for the project

Assures compliance with Supply Management policies and procedures and brings any non-compliance issues to the attention of management

Plan Orders and procure materials to support production requirements.

Clearly define the requirements of TRM with vendors

Review open requirements, monitor vendor performance, and expedite where necessary.

Minimum of 2 Years work experience

Knowledge and ability to record transactions properly in the ERP System

High degree of accuracy in performance of job responsibilities

Strong time and project management skills

Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM)

Prioritize and respond to ERP messages to effectively manage the flow of material to enable the organization to meet customer demand

Manage incoming material to minimize expedited freight

Diligently manage the procurement of material to achieve strategically targeted inventory levels

8+ years purchasing experience for manufacturing environment

Confers with current and prospective suppliers to determine supply capabilities, transportation logistics, inventory control and management parameters.

Requires expanded conceptual knowledge and broadens capabilities.

Evaluates MRP demand and customer orders, plan, create, implement and monitor production schedule, and procurement of material to support requirements.

Coordinates with Manufacturing Manager to assure timely execution of production schedule, and as appropriate, schedule changes, and material shortages.

Bachelor's Degree in Business or other appropriate field preferred or equivalent work experience.

2 – 5 years of experience in buying/planning.

Buying experience within Healthcare industry,preferred.

3+ years Experience with SAP for purchase order and sales order entry and maintenance

5+ years experience overseeing uniforms buying and planning, preferably within the Hospitality industry

Strong oral and written communication skills

Minimum of ten (10) years directly related experience within a purchasing/procurement environment, engineering, project management or equivalent and aeronautical environment.

High level of interaction with all levels of management, able to display appropriate level of communication and professionalism

Externally: Supplier leadership management, repair centers and Customers, daily

3+ years of experience in Procurement and Supply Chain Management role

Organize multiple projects, including schedule, risk management, and problem-solving

Other supply chain related activities, such as coordinating logistics and inventory management

Communicate with suppliers and cross-functional teams to meet schedules and requirements in CapEx projects

Build and manage strategic supplier relationships

Ability to organize and manage projects and do multi-tasking
