Work closely with multiple investigators to enhance and extend their scientific capabilities into the bioinformatic space.

Experience with bash terminal data manipulation and data analysis through HPC cluster environment with a parallel file system.

Experience with applying appropriate statistical and/or bioinformatics analyses to large molecular biological datasets.

Experience with the use of statistical packages in R and experience in scripting languages such as Python.

An M.S. or equivalent experience in Bioinformatics/Biostatistics/Computational Biology or related fields

A demonstrated experience of a developed algorithm, pipeline, or database with application to multi-omic using R package in CRAN and Bioconductor.

Basic knowledge of virus biology

1. Master's degree or above, PhD preferred, with education background in mathematics, statistics, bioinformatics;

2. Knowledge of molecular biology, oncology and immunology, excellent scientific literature search and reading ability.

2. Mining and interpreting NGS sequencing data, especially miRNA sequencing data, and completing bioinformatic analysis;

4. Responsible for the collation and integration of public databases and datasets, data mining and internal applications;

4. Familiar with public databases, such as TCGA, COSMIC, GEO, etc.

6. Proficient in at least two of PERL, shell, R, python languages;

Experience with relational or non-relational database construction, management, and querying (such as SQL or MongoDB)

Knowledge of the Quality and Regulatory requirements for the design and development of IVD assays

PhD or MS in Bioinformatics, Computer Science, or equivalently technical discipline, or extensive software product development experience.

Knowledge of working with the publicly available sequence repositories (NCBI databanks, FDA-Argos, etc) and their use in clinical development context.

Knowledge of working with scripting languages such as Python and all relevant BioInformatics and machine learning packages (From pandas to Tensorflow).

Extensive experience with open-source bioinformatics, genome analysis tools and BioInformatics research tools.
