Senior Bioinformatician Jobs in Massachusetts

At least 0-5 years of experience in a research laboratory or biopharma / biotech company setting.

Hands-on experience with analysis of NGS data and cloud computing is required.

Experience in Python, and demonstrated experience in other programming R, Bash/Shell, SQL, javascript

Experience with open-source bioinformatics and genome analysis tools.

Strong desire to lean new skills and grow scientifically

Setup and operate bioinformatic workflows for core experiments supporting discovery biology activities including LNP & mRNA screening.

Strong communication skills (oral and written) and ability to multi-task

Follow latest advances in the field, raise awareness, and influence the introduction of novel and state-of-the-art computational techniques

Collaborate in a matrix environment, working with scientists and teams in different areas to address projects’ specific needs

Develop, maintain, and automate analysis scripts, tools, and predictive models for broader and repeated use

Mentor/coach team members and peers in technical, and scientific aspects

Communicate data and analyses to broad scientific audience, technical and non-technical team members
