Senior Associate Global Sourcing Manager Jobs in Illinois

6+ years of experience in Strategic Sourcing, Team Leader, Stakeholder Management

2+ years of experience in Business Process Improvement Methodology (TQM; Six Sigma; Lean; etc.)

Setting Discover Financial Services’ global strategy assigned category areas.

Conduct spend analysis and applicable support of business case development.

Work closely with senior stakeholders and various functions for category projects involving the selection, negotiation, and acquisition of goods and services.

Foster a collaborative work environment and supports the professional development of those on the team.

Tenured experience in category management for global outsourcing (min 2+ years in global outsourcing).

$71-$76/hour depending on level of experience.

Hybrid schedule: 3 days on-site, 2 days remote.

5+ years within contract negotiations.

Background in supporting global procurement and outsourcing operations.

Minimum 3 years relevant tax experience with a national accounting firm or equivalent Industry experience;

Experience in preparing individual tax returns;

Adept at managing client engagements with excellent customer service skills;

Review tax equalization policies and implement processes;

Review assignment letters and agreements for tax language and provide advice to customers regarding best practices;

Advise on U.S. payroll reporting (hypothetical tax, equity reporting etc.);
