This job is a member of the Hubs & Gateways Team within the Customer Experience Division.

Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience/training

Demonstrated proficiency in identifying areas for improvement in a large-scale operation, and ability to advocate and manage change

Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning and resource allocation

Intermediate level experience, fully functioning broad knowledge in:

Relationship management or consulting with an emphasis on critical thinking & analysis

Knowledge of materials, methods, and the tools involved in the construction or repair of real estate assets

Knowledge of laws, legal codes, court procedures, precedents, government regulations, executive orders, agency rules, and the democratic political process

Carry out management responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws.

Five (5) years or more management experience with three or more years’ experience in aviation.

Remain locally competitive by managing in liaison with Revenue Management team

Responsible for financial management of base including capital expenditures, forecasting, budgeting, audit performance and expense management.

Effectively present information to top management, public groups and/or boards of directors.

Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Aviation Management, or related field preferred.

Minimum Qualifications Education And Experience

Provides training and technical guidance in asset management principles and decision-making processes to staff and others within the organization.

Demonstrated competency in Financial Management including budgeting and invoicing.

Institute of Asset Management (IAM) Certificate or Diploma

Master’s degree with an emphasis in infrastructure asset management

Management and frontline employee interaction and development

Ability to direct and develop management team, as well as ability to engage frontline employee population

Bachelor’s degree or related field experience of 3 - 5 years of managerial experience in airlines operational environment preferred

Minimum 3-5 years leadership experience in an operations environment

Excellent social skills, including written and presentation

Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualifications

You will work closely with stakeholders to build creative and innovative solutions that improve the customer and team member experience

Work with IT to define requirements and resolve issues using Agile methodologies while ensuring business objectives are being achieved

Partner with external vendors to ensure 3rd party development meets business requirements

Management of the baggage service office and working with stakeholders on computers system request for displaying information.

Promotes a safe, secure and healthy environment for internal and external customers through the Safety Management System (SMS) program.

Operational experience in an airport environment.

Strong communication and analytical skills.

Oversight of common use areas: Inspection of the baggage carousel, Ticket Counters etc.

Inspect, report and schedule facility irregularities to ensure opening day fresh.
