Senior Accounts Receivable Accountant Jobs

Ability to demonstrate attention to detail, accuracy, and analytical skills.

Requires a minimum of 2 years of accounting/business experience

Responsible for intaking customer payments, posting to general ledger, and uploading checks to online banking portal

Reconciles daily deposits to the bank with the general ledger

Organizational and time management skills

Other duties and special projects as requested by management.

5+ years of experience in accounting/finance

Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required from an accredited university.

3+ years of general ledger accounting experience

Working knowledge of large ERP package, general ledger, fixed asset, and other modules, plus reporting (AX12 is a plus)

Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel

Strong communication and analytical skills with proven ability to work with clients while creating positive relationships on behalf of the company

Strong math/accounting aptitude and related audit skills

The key responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to:

Prepares, posts, verifies, and records customer payments and transactions related to accounts receivable.

Creates invoices according to company practices; submits invoices to customers.

Leads numerous special projects and provides information to appropriate management personnel

Contributes to team effort by accomplishing other tasks as needed and other projects as assigned by management

Manages operations staffing, including recruitment, supervision, scheduling, performance management, development, evaluation, and disciplinary actions

Manages and coordinates a broad range of projects, many of which are non-standard reporting

Demonstrates and applies strong accounting knowledge, acumen, and advanced technical expertise

May manage a team of employees

Capture remote deposits of live checks and process lockbox and electronic deposits.

7+ years AR experience in a corporate environment

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Proven aptitude for systems; intermediate Excel skills

You possess the following qualifications:

OTHER SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES, CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES

5 or more years’ experience in Accounts Receivable, with similar responsibilities.

Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting business administration or relevant field.

Demonstrated knowledge of the accounting field.

This position has no supervisory responsibilities/no direct reports.

Coordinating all donor database input including setting up batches, posting, and exporting into Sage Intacct.
