Seating Mechanical Engineer Jobs

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Other:

Establish the management process for the Premium Services teams, including service expectations, pipeline management, activity standards, and career development.

Collaborate in the development and implementation of sales strategies including but not limited to sales/service campaigns, lead management, and sales cadences.

Knowledge of managerial best practices.

Drive consistent and frequent communication about product offerings and campaigns to staff members across the organization.

Strong verbal and written communication skills are required.

Stay updated with the latest industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory requirements related to automotive seating systems.

1+ years of experience using 3D CAD software collaboratively (Catia V5/V6, 3DX, etc.)

1+ year of experience in the production release process

1+ year of experience in a factory setting launching a new product

Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, electronics, and control systems.

Experience with software programming languages such as C/C++, MATLAB, or Python for control system development.

High School diploma/GED required or a minimum of one year of related mechanical or electrical experience required

Demonstrates general knowledge of products within CRT industry.

7+ years of work experience in a similar role

Recent sales or service experience at a major professional sports team (NHL, MLB, MLS, NBA, NFL)

Experience with various ticketing systems (e.g., Ticketmaster/Archtics, etc.) preferred

Experience interacting with third party vendors

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations Management, Engineering or Chemistry and/or equivalent experience or evidence of exceptional ability

Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously with complex and demanding deadlines

2+ years of operational procurement or business process experience in automotive, tech industry or comparable industry

Exceptional communications, and interpersonal skills

Experience working across and successfully influencing multiple internal stakeholders

Automotive engineering with seating experience is preferred but not mandatory.

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations Management, Engineering or Chemistry and/or equivalent experience or evidence of exceptional ability.

Address all areas of category management including category business plans, global market and pricing analysis and procurement support.

Manage respective supplier relationships and performance, including but not limited to dispute resolution.

Develop spend strategies, identify potential suppliers, analyze supplier capabilities, select suppliers, and determine prices, terms, and conditions of agreements.

Work collaboratively with other Sourcing Specialists, Sourcing Managers, Category Managers, and Buyers.
