Rna Scientist Jobs

Excellent BS/MS candidates with 5-10+ years of rigorous research experience and demonstrated success within the biotech industry

Experience with High Throughput Screening (HTS) applications

Experience with in vitro and/or animal models of disease

Experience and general understanding of current gene editing technologies

Extensive knowledge of RNA processing and modifications, preferentially RNA splicing and ADAR-mediated RNA editing

Extensive knowledge of RNA structure and function and a general understanding of RNA-protein interactions

Excellent verbal, presentation and written communication skills are essential and capacity to effectively work in a team environment

Experience working with internal and external teams in a collaborative environment to deliver on goals and deadlines

Outstanding problem-solving and data analysis skill and ability to independently record scientific progress and maintain detailed laboratory notebook

Previous industry experience in Biotech or Pharmaceuticals

Experience reviewing the proper operation and maintenance of current laboratory equipment and analytical instruments

M.S. with minimum of 2-4 years or B.S./B.A. with 3-5 years Biotech or Pharmaceuticals industry experience preferred

The candidate should have strong interest and skills in management, training, and mentoring.

Excellent communications, organization, and time management skills.

Projects will require considerable technical skill and innovation.

One to five years of experience in post-graduate research (experience will determine position level).

Research activities will cover a mix of foundational scientific questions and novel applications.

The candidate will need to work collaboratively across the company to build support for research objectives and communicate important outcomes.

A Ph.D. degree in biology, biochemistry, bioengineering, or a related field or equivalent industry experience

Computational biology skills in RNA structure design and experimental analysis are preferred

Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot experiments and interpret results.

Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present data and results clearly and concisely.

Experience with non viral delivery, manufacturing, or in vivo models is a strong plus.

Design and execute experiments to generate and evaluate new mRNA-based therapeutic candidates, testing hypotheses around RNA structure, expression and stability
