Oversee retail operations to create a positive experience for shoppers and a safe and efficient workspace for employees.

Maintain working knowledge of best practices, industry developments, customer needs, and competition.

Manage recycling programs, including scrap metal, cardboard recycling, and other waste.

Support succession planning and career development for store managers and assistant store managers.

Interact with media representatives as appropriate and approved.

Benchmark with successful multi-ReStore affiliates with the goal of enhancing GMHFH ReStores best practices.

Attends educational and training seminars relevant to job responsibilities

50% Markets and promotes Region 6 Education and Curricula to Monroe County Schools; facilitate scheduled programs

15% Develops and facilitates programs and opportunities for RESTORE’s Monroe County Education-based grants

10% Helps identify, design, and evaluate desired programs, outcomes, and data for sexual assault, domestic violence, and stalking education curricula

5% Attends and/or facilitates Train the Trainer programs for RESTORE, PPCWNY education staff, coalition members, and other professionals

Associates degree required, Bachelor’s degree preferred in Human Services, Social Work, Health Education, Criminal Justice, or a related field

Develop relationships with other area ReStore managers to identify “best practices” and mutually beneficial programs.

Guide and assist volunteers in their work, understanding that each individual has different capabilities.

Coordinate with Development Director and Construction Manager on in-kind donation requests from area contractors, suppliers, and businesses.

Ability to plan, schedule, prioritize, coordinate, delegate, and manage multiple work activities.

Demonstrated administrative, communication, financial, and leadership skills.

Strong interpersonal skills, dealing well with various people, personalities, and backgrounds.

Educate clients on Restore’s medical products and services and the benefits they offer

Unselfish and approachable with a preference for detailed, skill-based work

Knowledge of micronutrients and their impact on health

Strong communication and customer service skills

Patient, conscientious, relaxed and cooperative team worker

Accommodating and analytical, while producing highly precise and accurate work

Experience with remote organizing campaigns and digital outreach tools

Manage voting rights restoration outreach campaigns in several states

Three or more years of grassroots organizing or campaign experience

Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
