Overview A Restorative Nursing Assistant (RNA) is a healthcare professional who works with patients to help them regain and maintain their physical and mental abilities. They provide physical, emotional, and social support to patients who are recovering from an illness or injury. The role of the RNA is to help patients regain their independence and quality of life. Detailed Job Description The Restorative Nursing Assistant is responsible for providing physical, emotional, and social support to patients who are recovering from an illness or injury. The RNA will assess the patient’s physical and mental abilities, develop and implement a plan of care, and provide support and guidance to the patient and their family. The RNA will also provide education and instruction to the patient and their family on how to manage their condition and maintain their independence. Job Skills Required
