Overview A Restaurant Manager In Training (RMIT) is a position that provides an individual with the opportunity to learn the skills and knowledge necessary to become a successful restaurant manager. The RMIT is responsible for learning the operations of the restaurant, developing customer service skills, and learning the financial and administrative aspects of restaurant management. Detailed Job Description The RMIT is responsible for learning the operations of the restaurant, including food preparation, customer service, and financial management. The RMIT will be responsible for learning the menu, understanding the restaurant’s policies and procedures, and developing customer service skills. The RMIT will also be responsible for learning the financial and administrative aspects of restaurant management, including budgeting, forecasting, and inventory management. The RMIT will also be responsible for assisting the restaurant manager in day-to-day operations, such as scheduling, training, and supervising staff. Job Skills Required
