Works closely with Guest Services Manager to resolve all room discrepancies before the end of each day

Possesses full knowledge of all matters relating to the proper administration of the Housekeeping department

Performs numerous responsibilities to meet time-sensitive deadlines

Conducts periodic storeroom inventories to ensure maintenance of adequate par levels necessary to support forecasted operational requirements

Assists in the selection of employee uniforms and the determination of uniform purchase requirements, as applicable

A Hospitality Management Degree qualification is preferred, however, not essential with relevant experience

Applicants are highly recommended to have a minimum of 5 years of experience in Resort Management

Important to enjoy local activities as guests and employees are very passionate about enjoying all the destination has to offer

Strong ability to manage labor and adjust standards as needed

Knowledgeable about standard profit margins and ability to make financial decisions which maintain those margins

Ideal candidate should have prior operational background experience in Food & Beverage or Rooms, Residential experience would be a plus/advantage

Available to work nights, weekends, and holidays as necessary.Key Accountabilities

Extensive knowledge of Housekeeping and Laundry operational procedures

Ability to effectively manage labor productivity

Minimum 2 year college degree or equivalent experience required

Assures that all financial and credit procedures are followed; coordinates arrivals, departures and billing requirements with Sales and Catering Departments.

Minimum Two Years Luxury Experience in Hospitality desired

Strong leadership, communication, and organization skills

Interviews, trains and schedules the staff, as well as conducts performance evaluations and disciplines staff when needed.

Resolves guest concerns and interacts with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism, accommodating special requests whenever possible.

Resolves customer complaints from all areas of the hotel.
