Resort Housekeeping Manager Jobs in Colorado

Previous experience with Windows, Office, and property management systems highly desirable

Assist management to recruit, hire, train and successfully support and manage the talent of all new and existing team members

Responsible for short- and long-term planning and the management of the hotel’s housekeeping operations

Develop and recommend the budget, labor cost plans and objectives and manages within those approved plans.

Experience purchasing linens and housekeeping supplies.

Experience teaching, supervising, and mentoring multilingual and multicultural staff.

One to two years of post-high school education.

Primary duties include; directing, interviewing, hiring, counseling, plan work schedules, assign work duties of Housekeeping associates.

Lead pre-shift meetings communicates arrivals, departures, identifies VIP’s, delegates room assignments and duties.

Assist the Executive Housekeeper in interviewing and selecting new Associates for hire

Report all unsafe or hazardous conditions, incidents, accidents, and/or defective equipment to their manager

1 year of housekeeping/cleaning experience is preferred

Demonstrated knowledge of general janitorial work and safety measures when using various cleaning chemicals

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Strong multitasking and organizational skills
