Overview A Reserve Officer is a commissioned officer in the United States military who serves in a reserve capacity. Reserve Officers are typically called upon to serve in times of war or national emergency, and may also be called upon to serve in support of active duty forces. Reserve Officers are typically required to serve one weekend a month and two weeks a year. Detailed Job Description A Reserve Officer is responsible for providing leadership and direction to military personnel in a reserve capacity. They are responsible for training, supervising, and leading personnel in a variety of military operations. They are also responsible for planning and executing operations, as well as providing advice and guidance to personnel. Reserve Officers are also responsible for maintaining discipline and order among personnel, and for ensuring that all personnel are in compliance with regulations and laws. Job Skills Required
• Leadership: Reserve Officers must possess strong leadership skills in order to effectively lead and manage personnel.
• Communication: Reserve Officers must be able to communicate effectively with personnel in order to provide direction and guidance.
