Experience and ability to work independently on a remote basis, comfortable with technology.

Commercial contracting experience with vendor, OEM, and buy/sell agreements as well as real estate leasing agreements.

Manufacturing industry experience a plus.

Demonstrated ability to work well with in-house counsel, outside counsel, internal and external clients.

Ability to work full time hours on a contract basis until project completion.

8+ years of shown experience in a deal desk, contracts specialist, contracts management role, or professional services field or operations role

Knowledge of revenue recognition compliance

Understanding of negotiation tactics and decorum, prioritization based on forecast requirements: size, complexity, and strategy

Focus on quarterly and annual fiscal targets, supporting contract close requirements

Good organizational skills, with good time management skills and attention to detail

PRIOR EXPERIENCE WITH CRO IS A REQUIREMENT

Experience in the CRO business (preferably central laboratory services)

You have the ability to manage multiple contracts of varying types and size through the contract administration process

With a strong sense of business acumen, capable and eager utilize financial skills

Strong interest in pricing analysis and strategy with excellent numeracy skills – good financial and business understanding

Identify and escalate issues to management and/or for legal review

Build and maintain strong relationships with sales, finance, operations, and attorney stakeholders

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required

Strong customer service abilities and responsiveness to internal customers

Contract experience strongly preferred, specifically within sales contracting

Healthcare industry experience is helpful

Partners with risk management leader/team to identify risks and put in place mitigation measures.

5-7 years of contracts experience

Excellent decision-making, problem-solving skills, and negotiation skills.

Owns and ensures proper deployment of terms and conditions (approach, framework, parameters, etc.)

Represents Delta Star and its interests externally (with clients, providers, partners authorities, etc.)

Act as a reference for all contracting matters: Complex cases, escalation, validations, etc.

IS liaison with corporate departments; Purchasing, Finance and OGC, as well as serves as an IS contact with outside vendors.

Experience with Clinical Engineering contracts preferred

This position is fully remote for the IS-Financial Managment Department.

Ensures all agreements and legal documents are stored in PennTract.

Bachelor of Arts or Science (Required)

Experience with contract management, contract administration

Experience with working with datasets, database

Strong communication skills including ability to comprehend and interpret contractual terms, such as complex termination and term provision

Advanced Excel Skills - vlook ups etc., but the formulas have all been created so don't need to create formulas.

Ability to work as part of a team

Knowledge of clinical trial proposal process and budget management required

Ability to prioritize multiple tasks with limited management guidance and oversight

Ensures proposal budgets are in agreement with the RFP, client specifications and communications, and internal assumptions

Strong expertise with Microsoft Office with expert in Excel

Ability to interpret and prepare budgets and customer facing documents
