Assist the Project Manager with monitoring project scope, feasibility assessment and contingency plans, constraints, schedules, issues, approvals, and communication management.

Conducts analysis of business and user needs, requirements documentation, and existing system logic difficulty revision as necessary.

Ability to understand client needs and pain points to recommend requirements in DHS data systems.

Utilize DHS Maestro tool suite (Jira, Confluence, Big Picture, etc.) and DHS MS Teams.

Assist with redesigning business processes.

Utilize process improvement, reengineering methodologies, and internet-related methodologies and principles to conduct process modernization projects.

Certification in Information Security Strategy Management (CISM)

Manages security planning, assessments and analysis activities and provides guidance on information security policies, procedures, standards, and compliance

Manages security incidents and events to protect corporate IT assets, including intellectual property, personal information, regulated data

Manages, reviews, and responds to security alerts, escalations and incidents and identifies their root causes

Analyzes business processes and business requirements to determine conformance to security policies and procedures

Provides ongoing knowledge transfer to Analysts I/II on security products and standards

Identify and analyze potential threats and vulnerabilities to the organization's information systems and networks.

Oversee the installation, operation, and maintenance of security systems.

Communicate with other members of the organization about security issues.

Ensure that the client is in compliance with regulations and for dealing with any audits of the client's security procedures.

At least 5 years' experience in Information Technology, Cyber Security, or Program Management

Designs new/updated data definitions by analyzing requirements; constructing data flow/system charts and diagrams; writing data specifications

Works with Analytics teams to ensure data meets reporting requirements and supports gathering of data for KPI’s

Participates in project teams by participating in requirements & design efforts

Manages and communicates project and support activities

Knowledge of analytical tools R or Python a plus

Experience working with the Department of Homeland Security, Department of Energy, Intelligence Community, and/or the Department of Defense.

Experience with business requirements and business process analysis to ensure IT solutions meet the business needs.

Experience with Provider Connect, Provider Portals, and/or Contract Manager.

Supports the production of detailed functional requirements and/or user stories, including non-functional requirements.

Supports BSAs and Sr BSAs in business requirements gathering and determining technical impacts.

Required Work Experience: 2+ years related work experience in an application development, testing, and/or business/systems analysis role.

Required Education: High school diploma or GED.

Evaluate current computer systems and support staff.

Create user documentation and make training presentations.

Perform software upgrades and maintenance.

Coordinate with the IT department on all technical issues.

Provide systems design, evaluation, and support to non-technical users.

Be accountable for the computer system.
