Implement standard tests and/or develop boutique tests to characterize unique materials requirements (e.g., electrochemical compatibility, permeability, stress-relaxation, etc.)

Experience with polymers as related to a part’s functionality and Design for Manufacturability

Experience with injection molding processes and tooling

Good communication, managerial, analytical, planning, and organizational skills

BS or MS degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field or equivalent professional experience

A minimum of 8+ years of biotechnology and/or pharmaceutical industry experience

Consumer products or food company and plant experience, either technical or production

Perform general plant process engineering work.

Promote development of strong working relationships. Work collaboratively with maintenance, operations, quality, and engineering.

Develop and implement advanced processes to measure, analyze and improve equipment performance and communicate prioritization of plant performance improvement projects.

Frequently use data historian to identify trends related to process health and stability.

Engineering design and implementation in particular area of specialization (5 years)

Operate as a central contact for all document control issues, support, and ongoing management of the system

Work with sub-contractors and suppliers to ensure compliance with the Tesla document management system

Maintaining and reporting for Quality Management Systems (QMS)

Create and manage approval workflow for final procedures, documents, records, and drawings

Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills

Process documents and deliverables including, but not limited to: submittals, designs, drawings, calculations and other engineering data

Experience working on interdisciplinary teams with strong project and people management skills

Interact with vendors and CROs with minimal oversight depending on project requirements

Base salary range from $141,000 - $155,000 based on experience.

3 year minimum relevant industry experience, 5+ year ideal

Experience controlling properties of proteins and aqueous dispersions to influence macrostructural assemblies and corresponding properties of thin-films

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Computer Skills: Minitab, python, MATLAB experience a plus. Creo knowledge experience a plus.

Knowledge of process optimization / automation, robotics, and / or composite material material surface prep.

Knowledge of material testing equipment, techniques, data collection and analysis, and statistical evaluation. Weibull life analysis is a plus

Extensive experience working with or in Quality Assurance

Aviation experience is preferred, but not required ( FAA part 23 or 25 aircraft materials)

Robot programming experience is a plus.

Salary: $36.63 to $44.40/hr depending on experience
