Quarry Assistant Plant Manager Jobs

Build and maintain an effective management team.

Manage a limestone open pit & underground mining operation with approximately 25 hourly employees and four salaried direct reports

Effectively manage staff by setting clear performance objectives, providing regular feedback and development through training

Minimum of 3 years of experience in personnel supervisory role.

Working knowledge of AggQC and AggFlow is a plus

Working knowledge of profit and loss statements and an understanding of basic accounting principles

Assist the Service Experience Manager with financial aspects and budgets to drive efficiencies and continuous improvement within the organization

Demonstrate ownership of disciplines and process adoption with technology and innovation that enhance the customers experience

Assist with protecting security and privacy of customer information including education, compliance and disposition of issues

Perform all Service Experience, Cash Room and Communication procedures as applicable

Strong organizational, delegation and follow-through skills

Clear and effective written and verbal communication as well as strong interpersonal skills

Bachelor's degree (B.S.) preferably a B.S. in Food Science, Engineering, Business Management or equivalent work experience

Knowledge of organizational effectiveness and operations management.

Time management, attention to detail, active listening, decision-making, organizational, verbal and written skills required.

Excellent interpersonal skills required to include; coaching, prioritization, team-building, training, emotional intelligence, and conflict management.

Manage a leadership team in achieving daily production goals.

Excellent problem solving and reasoning skills required.

Capital project engineering or management experience

Working with the Manufacturing Production Manager to plan production and adjust based on plant schedule

Facilitating team development and growth, employee skill development, problem-solving and resolution, building employee commitment and ownership, and holding employees accountable

Working with cross-functional team to manage maintenance and operation projects

Demonstrating Analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills

Minimum of 3 years of experience in a supervisory role

Excellent organizational, analytical, and management skills

Experience as a hands-on leader who loves being on the sales floor to motivate, coach, and help teams succeed

Strong emotional intelligence, resilience, communication skills, and the ability to influence team members

Passion about excellent client service and experiential retail
