2+ years’ experience in automotive diagnosis, servicing, and repair techniques of automobiles (may be substituted for experience in production at Tesla)

Associate degree or Certificate in Automotive Technology or the equivalent in experience and evidence of exceptional ability

Ensure no cars leave respective area with open NCs

Build solid relationships in respective zone/pitches

Joint effort to inspect and repair vehicles at in-line when defects arise

High school diploma or General Equivalent Degree (GED) required, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

The position is expected to perform the specified job duties within the allotted time, within the quality standards and prescribed methods.

Comply with company policies and procedures, including EHS and ISO requirements.

Minimum 3 years’ experience in quality.

Knowledge of Hydraulic/pneumatic systems desirable.

Computer Skills (Filling in Forms, logging in, navigating websites, etc.)

Ability to perform detailed daily record keeping and reporting of quality issues that will be referenced by technicians, engineers, and management

At least 6 months of experience in an automotive, production or quality assurance environment

MS Suite Skills - Ability to create charts and perform basic calculations (percentages, sum, average etc.)

Experience with measurement and inspection tools (Calipers, Gap&Flush Gauges, Measuring Tape, etc.)

Perform Daily Vehicle Quality Audits at Quality gates across the factory to measure and improve Quality KPIs

Perform basic root cause and report defect trends to Quality leaders (using both written and verbal communication methods)

Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience

2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.

2 years of experience with precision-measuring equipment is preferred.

Knowledge of quality control processes

Perform receiving inspection of equipment/parts.

Perform inspection of equipment/parts in-house and at supplier facilities when applicable.

Work closely with cross functional team such as Technicians, QE, Production Management and PC to resolve issues.

Work closely with direct superior to manage and prioritize staffing assignments to meet the team objectives

Associate Degree or Certificate in Automotive Technology or the equivalent in experience and evidence of exceptional ability.

In the absence of direct Supervisor, will step in as acting Supervisor

Conducts Fault Injections and Inspector Calibration

Coordinate Inspector training to improve versatility without affecting business flow

Provide feedback on compliance and standards to management.

Effective problem-solving skills and process/product relationship knowledge.

Computer skills: MS Excel including Michelin Pi DataLink, MS Word and working knowledge of Saufi & OSCAR are a plus.

B.S. Degree in Mechanical, Chemical or Material Science Engineering with Manufacturing Experience is desired.

Strong teamwork, leadership, and organizational skills.

Demonstrated organization and analytical skills at a level that shows creativity

Sustain the quality management system in partnership with Operations

Perform products and process audits to ensure Quality Management System (QSM) compliance

Demonstrated problem solving and root cause analysis skills (Why 5, Fishbone, etc..)

Ability to prioritize and multi-task various and conflicting responsibilities in a high energy production environment.

Computer literacy including working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite.

Prefer ASQ Certification: CQE, CQM, CQA, CQT, CRE.

Experienced in the areas of Interior Lighting & overall vehicle lit harmony for conformance to illumination requirements is preferred

Ability to create and deliver effective presentations to Management, with Managerial Courage.

Knowledge of product engineering, manufacturing processes and new vehicle launch process

Computer software skills – especially with Excel and PowerPoint

Self-motivated, Pro-Active, Decision Maker with ability to simultaneously manage multiple programs

Lead the evaluation of interior illuminated parts for assigned programs

Communicate trends and significant findings to management.

Demonstrated analytical problem-solving skills and knowledge of Good Laboratory Practices.

Lead QC department in customer, regulatory and certification audits.

Manage laboratory staff as dictate by business needs.

Well-organized, detail orientated and strong leadership abilities.

Demonstrate excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize based on company needs.

Produce daily reports for management visibility

Ensure safety requirements are met and standardized work is followed

Directly lead team of Quality Fit Technicians to Meet daily safety, quality and production targets

Develop and coach team members. Maintain a training schedule

Assign daily workload and regularly communicate expectations

Escalate quality issues for quick resolution and provide solutions to existing problems

Support adherence and continuous improvement of pre-requisite programs including GMP’s, training, calibration, pest management, cleaning/sanitation, environmental monitoring, and allergen control.

Knowledge of quality assurance procedures and sampling requirements required.

Knowledge of HACCP, GMPs and FDA required.
