Quality Improvement Project Manager Jobs

Plan, organize, lead and monitor all quality assurance and control activities in the project based on the PQP

Responsibility for creating, communicating & following up the master ITP register based on input from various functions

Ensure that quality processes are known and followed in the project.

Drive Quality culture, Quality Assurance, Quality Control and compliance with local codes & standards, law & regulations on the Project.

Work with quality risks and monitor status and mitigation.

Educate organization in quality processes and ensure compliance.

Bachelors’ degree with 4-6 years of project management experience, or Masters’ degree with 2-4 years of experience.

Experience supporting grants or contracts oversight, including budget, resource, task and timeline management

Create new tools and processes, where needed, to support successful project management

Proficiency in virtual meeting/collaboration, project management, and survey software (e.g., Zoom, Teams, Asana, Survey Monkey, Higher Logic)

Monitor project finances, including the development of project budgets, staffing allocations and financial projections

Manage relationships and collaborate with PIC staff, consultants and subcontractors, other National Council departments and both public/governmental and private external clients/customers

Must have at least 2 years of project management experience

Knowledge of more complex problem solving and error proofing skills

System Knowledge - Working knowledge of the basic functions and benefits of the SW systems (PV, QAD, Batch tracking, Horizon etc)

Change Leadership - Working knowledge of change leadership skills.

Leverage project opportunities or learnings which could improve business knowledge or processes.

Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects and prioritize appropriately.

Skills, knowledge, abilities typically gained through 5+ years of related health care, business, or quality improvement experience.

3 years of relevant skills, knowledge, abilities typically gained through 3+ years of related experience.

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent, in health care, engineering, case management, business administration.

Manage and coordinate the development and implementation of patient safety culture behaviors and initiatives within the physician clinical practice.

3 years of relevant experience in a leadership role.

Experience working in an organization of size and complexity comparable to Spectrum Health.

Tracks and maintains reports regarding staff production and provides information about staff performance to appropriate management and leadership.

Duties / Knowledge & Skills

Evaluates attendance requirements including, but not limited to, tardies, unplanned events, leave of absences, etc.

Oversees the training and performance of outsourced staff (work from home, temporary, and/or offshore)

Operate standard office equipment, utilize various software programs relevant to the responsibilities of the position

When appropriate, meets with staff members to inquire about issues, training required, or obstacles that impede performance and production.

Strong project management skills or consulting experience.

Minimum of three years of experience in electronic health records systems, data analytics, and project management.

This position will need project management, troubleshooting and customer service experience.

Strong working knowledge of medical terminology and pharmacology is preferred Appropriate written and verbal communication skills.

Solid and proven experience working with diverse communities in a non-profit or healthcare setting.

Experience working with Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHC’s) and their specific patient populations is preferred.

Maintain detailed project documentation including meeting minutes, action items, issues lists and risk management plans.

Analyze data and develop presentations and materials for committee and articles for newsletters and other educational pieces.

Coordinate Work Plan, team and resources for HEDIS/Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (CAHPS) submission to Connector Authority and NCQA.

Coordinate and implement interventions to increase HEDIS, CAHPS and designated health measures for the Plan.

Adhere to NCQA standards and work with Corporate Director of Accreditation in maintaining Plan’s NCQA accreditation.

Support the coordination of corporate compliance and external surveys as needed.
