Quality Engineer Group Lead Jobs

Minimum of 2 years of experience in Manufacturing Quality

Minimum of 3 years of experience in Quality and minimum of 4 years in Manufacturing.

Develop and supervise associates including performance assessment, attendance management, professional development, etc.

Take full ownership of Lean Daily Management, including Daily Gemba Walks and KPIs.

Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate with other cross functional team members.

Experience working with ERP systems, such as J.D. Edwards

Create, implement, and modify standardized work as needed and ensure standardized work is followed by value stream team members.

Manage team workload through Salesforce and platform reporting, ensuring Salesforce tasks are completed within standard SLA.

Complete team requests independently, using your judgment and problem-solving skills.

4+ years prior experience in leadership

6+ years of work experience in regional/ global operations with a large multi-national company.

Strong team working skills, ability to adapt to a fast-paced, international work environment with a passion for making an impact.

Ability to manage each team member effectively and consistently.

Good visual management skills to show project readiness, project development, and project reflections.

Good trouble shooting skills to assist in production down time, determine root cause and experience in developing countermeasures.

2-3 years experience within a manufacturing environment and working with OEM suppliers

4-year Engineering degree, or 2-Year Engineering degree with experience in related field

Electrical or Mechanical Design Experience using Catia and or AutoCAD

Equipment Engineering work experience including planning, scheduling, maintenance coordination, engineering coordination in a production environment

U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Construction Quality Management Certification is required.

Examine the quality of workmanship to ensure compliance with the contract requirements and specifications.

Ensure all testing is meeting the requirements of the NASA specifications.

Understands contract requirements and subcontractor(s) contract requirements.

Review construction submittals and ensure they are compliance with specification and drawing requirements.

Provide technical guidance to lower-level Quality Control Inspectors.

Possesses common knowledge of all DC systems, ensuring Associates follow procedures and provides performance feedback to Supervisor

Knowledge of PC’s and software and the ability to quickly learn new systems, including Aptos

Effective verbal and written communication skills

Foundational experience in software configuration and code management

Intermediate expertise in build / code / release management to enable defect avoidance

Automation Knowledge and working experience on Automation frameworks (60-70% will be automation in this role).

Strong experience in understanding functional requirements, plan, design and execute end-to-end tests.

Demonstrated ability to successfully lead and manage internal audit process and auditors to maintain required certifications strongly preferred.

Guide organization personnel through new quality practices and certifications.

Manage the Quality Review Board and process to ensure that all non-conforming products are addressed in a timely manner.

Problem solving/analysis and decision-making skills.

1-2 years of experience leading groups, projects, or teams in achieving goals and objectives strongly preferred.

Six Sigma Certification- Green Belt preferred. Will also consider ASQ certs

· Minimum of one (1) year of functional leadership experience desired.
