Job Description
Summary Product quality review associated with the manufacturing process. Impacts departmental operations and responsible for planning/execution. The role has some autonomy but is focused on execution of activities within an operating discipline covered by standard functional practices and procedures. Some judgment may be required but this is typically with guidance.

Roles And Responsibilities


  • Performs routine analysis on quality problems identified within the manufacturing process
  • Deliver products as part of a team
  • Develop new solutions under guidance and / or in a team setting or based upon precedents in the organizations
  • Resolve problems through application of acquired expertise guided by precedent.
  • Ensure customer quality requirements, Feedback of Experience (FOE) / Lessons Learned are considered when analyzing proposed changes to improve a process.
  • Work together with cross-functional teams to solve quality problems in the production process.
  • Establish and execute project quality plan, witness-points, quality records for compliance with contract
  • Perform analytical activities and maintain quality metrics related to production quality


Required Qualifications


  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in Manufacturing Quality
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, or Electrical)


Desired Characteristics


  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Quality and minimum of 4 years in Manufacturing.
  • Proven analytical and organizational ability
  • Ability to influence others and lead small teams
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Effective problem identification and solution skills
  • Ability to coordinate several projects simultaneously
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Lead initiatives of moderate scope and impact
