Quality Business Intelligence Engineer Jobs in California

Experience with business intelligence reporting and visualization tools, including Looker and similar platforms

Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Business, or a related field

You have basic familiarity with at least one scripting language (ideally Python or R) and are open to deepening your knowledge.

You have experience with Tableau.

You have experience building BI reporting specifically for Sales and Revenue reporting.

Build and maintain key dashboards and reports for tracking Notion’s sales performance and customers.

Share visualization and dashboard development best practices with our Business Intelligence and Data Science teams to create consistency across our dashboards.

Build BI grade datasets for more high performant dashboards used by Business stakeholders across the company

3+ years of analyzing and interpreting data with Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL etc. experience

Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools

Experience with data modeling, warehousing and building ETL pipelines

Experience developing and presenting recommendations of new metrics allowing better understanding of the performance of the business

Experience with AWS solutions such as EC2, DynamoDB, S3, and Redshift

Experience using SQL to pull data from a database or data warehouse and scripting experience (Python) to process data for modeling

Background/knowledge in Computer Science, Applied Math, Engineering, Stats, Physics, or a something comparable

5+ years of industry experience building complex, scalable ETLs for a variety of different business and product use cases

Five years or more experience with database management systems such as SQL, or Hadoop.

Required Education, Training and Experience:

Strong programming skills in Python, C#, or other programming languages commonly used in data engineering.

Process Knowledge: Proficiently analyzes and estimates projects, documents, monitors processes and develops framework for implementation and improvement.

Three years of experience in data engineering or a related field.

One year or more experience with cloud computing platforms.

You have basic familiarity with at least one scripting language (ideally Python or R) and are open to deepening your knowledge.

You have experience with Tableau.

You have experience building BI reporting specifically for corporate and financial reporting.
