Experience & Skills You’ll Need:

Document and proactively manage issues until resolution.

Excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills are essential.

Experience in web and mobile UI automation utilizing: Playwright, Cypress, or Web Driver.

Experience in: API, Database (SQL) utilizing: jmeter, postman, Soatest.

Load Testing experience is a plus.

Maintains sensory and microbial testing and equipment calibration records and results through data entry into Lab Data Management System (LDMS)

Basic computer skills and hands-on experience with Microsoft Excel

Knowledge acquired through up to 12 months of work experience

Coordinate the collection of product samples in preparation for sensory tests performed by panelists to ensure adherence to company sensory requirements

Manages the ordering and inventorying of laboratory supplies used for sensory and microbial testing and analysis

Basic math, analytical, and problem-solving skills

· Ability to cross train in different responsibilities of the QA department.

•Related Work Experience – at least 3 years related experience, preferred

•Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time in temperature extremes on a daily basis up to 12 hours.

Title : Quality Assurance/Lab Technician

Location : Northampton MA 01060

Duration : 06+ Months Contract (Possibility of Extension)

• Demonstrated success in project management and business/QA systems

• Knowledge of appropriate regulatory requirements including GMP/GQP

• Manages GMP and GQP systems for timely release of CSL products to the market

• Experience with regulatory authorities and international inspections

• Experience within a global matrix organization

• Maintains GMP-related quality systems including standard operating procedures (SOPs) and supportive systems to ensure cGMP compliance

2-5 years experience working in a manufacturing environment

Previous Industrial laboratory experience preferred

Must have basic computer and math skills

Experience with programs, Maintenance Excellence, 5s, and SSP

Follows HS&E procedures and practices

Perform basic calibration and maintenance of analytical systems

Prior experience in a production laboratory is a plus

Perform routine sampling at various process stages

Perform physical, chemical and microbiological analyses of raw materials, in-process beer, finished beer and packaging materials

Prepare stock solutions and media plates

Preform regular calibration and/or cleaning of lab equipment

Work safely and maintain a clean and organized laboratory environment

Excellent communication skills - written and verbal.

Demonstrated skills in the areas of collaboration, innovation, decisiveness, multi-tasking, and conflict resolution are important for success.

Demonstrated basic skills in laboratory settings including data generation, scientific method, data analysis, basic scientific principles.

Working knowledge of laboratory machine interface controls, data analysis tools, and computer systems including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, etc.

Knowledge of ASTM/IP/UOP testing procedures and testing skills required.

Completes all required training (CBT’s, FPDE’s and specialized training) within the defined time.

Obtains samples and performs laboratory analysis on designated products and process streams.

Performs instrument maintenance and calibrations of testing equipment as needed.

Distributes and retains samples according to laboratory guidelines.

Records and reports test results as required.

Essential Functions, Duties & Responsibilities:

· Regular verification/calibration of lab equipment, including annual 3 rd party certification.

· Knowledge of arithmetic, algebra, statistics, and their applications.

Defines procedures governing quality systems processes: document management, change control, deviation handling, product quality review, training, supplier qualification and audit management

8-10 years' experience in quality/GMP in the pharmaceutical/biotech industry including 3+ years' leadership/team management experience

Demonstrated success in project management and business/QA systems

Review all approval paperwork, acknowledge the validity of the data, and issue ROA’s/COA’s through Sample Manager and Product Certification.

Perform general housekeeping, hazardous waste management and maintain safety equipment

Maintain ERT and work permit qualification(s).

Train in a timely manner on test methods, demonstrate proficiency, and assist in training new and less experienced personnel

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

Conduct physical and chemical laboratory test procedures using standard industry methods.

If ever any HSE incident takes place, Stop Work and report immediately to your lead/supervisor/manager.

Other projects as assigned by Quality manager.

Ability to identify and use measuring equipment needed to verify requirements.

Have experience working in a Lab and basic understanding of chemical specs and procedures

Have experience working as Lab Chemist for 3 years would be prefeed

Experience with Chemical Analysis & Approval – analyze intermediate samples and finished

Knowledge of basic laboratory procedures and techniques.

Strong technical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

Solid interpersonal skills and team orientation.

Skilled in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word
