Overview Purchasing Inventory Specialists are responsible for managing the purchasing and inventory of goods and services for a company. They are responsible for researching and selecting suppliers, negotiating contracts, and ensuring that the company has the necessary materials and supplies to meet its needs. Detailed Job Description Purchasing Inventory Specialists are responsible for researching and selecting suppliers, negotiating contracts, and ensuring that the company has the necessary materials and supplies to meet its needs. They must also monitor inventory levels, order new supplies, and track orders to ensure timely delivery. They must also maintain accurate records of purchases and inventory levels, and ensure that all orders are processed in a timely manner.
