Starting at $17.00 / hour- experience considered

Serve Safe Certification, a plus

PTO 80 hours of vacation, 40 hours of sick (roll-over)

Presoak and scrub all silverware

Pre-rinse all dishes & pots with sprayer

Load silverware, dishes, and pots into dishwashing machine and run machine

Unload machine and inspect dishes for remaining food particles, rewashing as necessary

Previous restaurant experience required; 2 years in a high-volume restaurant setting preferred

Food handlers certification preferred upon hire; required within 30 days of hire

Excellent organization skills, with strong attention to detail

Experience using Microsoft Office suite, or similar

Ability to accurately handle cash and work with numbers

Adhere to all sanitation, safety and risk management policies, and required personal protective equipment throughout your shift.

Develop proficiency on assigned station and expand knowledge by training in other areas of the unit.

Previous kitchen experience with some cooking on a line station or batch cooking. Experience in a Pizzeria is a plus.

Basic knowledge of kitchen production, commercial grade equipment such as slicers, steamers, mixers, kettles, pizza ovens and propane operated units.

Safe and proficient knife handling skills.

Basic knowledge of ServeSafe HACCP food sanitation program with ability to apply necessary portions of program.

Have at least one year of supervisory experience in a restaurant setting, experience in senior living is a plus

Have inventory and ordering experience

Be willing to obtain CPR/First Aid certification

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent

Be willing to work occasional weekends, holidays, and special events

Be able to lift and carry trays of food and beverages, and stay on your feet for long periods of time
