Support the Project Managers, PM(s), in all aspects of management of the project(s). Will have day-to-day responsibility as follows:

Strong interpersonal skills to develop good working relationship with colleagues

Developing knowledge of industry terminology, laws, standards, practices, principles, and regulations

Ability to manage time and meet assignment/[project deadlines.

General knowledge of construction documents and construction details

Creative problem-solving skills to gather relevant information to solve less well- defined practical problems.

Identifies, qualifies, quantifies and manages project risks and ensures that all opportunities are identified and pursued

Oversees recurring revenue customer contracts and manages the execution of all deliverables

Knowledge of Industrial Service business with concentration on Variable Frequency Drives, Motors and Generators, highly preferred

Computer skills preferred include SAP, Salesforce (field service lightning), MS Office (including MS Projects)

Provides performance feedback regarding allocated resources working on projects

Instructions and guidelines: Active involvement in continuous improvement and simplification. Supports improving guidelines, tools and templates

Demonstrate advanced knowledge and understanding of project management concepts and principles.

Applies comprehensive knowledge and a thorough understanding of concepts, principles, and technical capabilities to perform varied tasks and projects.

Bachelors Degree in related field or equivalent work experience preferred.

Manage the projects that have been sold by the Business Development Managers

Capture notes during client meetings to assist Business Development Managers as they prepare client briefs

Communicate regularly with clients and Business Development Managers

The ideal applicant should possess the following skillsets:

Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or experience managing tasks in accordance with Project Management Institute (PMI) standards

3-5+ years of relevant work experience related to Project Management, Change Management, and/or Organizational Development

Experience with PowerApps, Sharepoint, and project management software is strongly desired

Manage several concurrent projects of varying priority and complexity, across multiple teams or stakeholders

Excellent synthesizing, organization, and creative problem-solving skills

Create and maintain project artifacts including project charters, project plans, risk and issue logs, and parking lots

Plans, organizes, completes, and presents assessments of project management concepts, analyses, studies, and procedures.

Ensures compliance with contract and corporate requirements including quality measures and quality assurance standards.

Equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of degree

Ability to effectively identify and manage project risks.

Demonstrates excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize workload and multi-task while maintaining strict attention to detail.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

At least 7 years of experience in project management preferable in the cement industry

Strong supervisory or management experience.

Timely and periodically prepares reports for management regarding status of project including project budget and schedule.

Adept in the use of project management software.

Sets deadlines, assigns responsibilities, monitors execution, and summarizes progress of project.

MSHA Certification required (or must obtain within reasonable period)
