Product Photographer Contractor Jobs

Excellent communication and collaboration skills

This is a contract hybrid remote/on-site role for a Product Photographer at Fubatea.

Demonstrated expertise in photographing a variety of products, including but not limited to food, beverage, and lifestyle

Passionate about eCommerce photography is a plus

Passionate about video and motion graphics is a plus

Leads Product Information Management integration activities with catalog and business teams for corrections, updates, new requirements, and joint enhancements;

Support change management for business users migrating off the legacy product publishing system to commercetools’ Merchant Center tool

Support user training and change management

Become an expert in enterprise workflow management, API integrations, and data feeds

Support development team in defining specific requirements and evaluating implementation options.

Leverage excellent communication skills to deliver insights and results to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

Experience with image file prep and asset management, as needed.

Any other tasks as required by management

Maintain and manage image files

Maintain and manage equipment, and keep studio clean and ready for use at all times

Knowledge of product staging and lighting for photo shoots including white background, prop, and lifestyle/action settings

Experience in fashion or jewelry product photography preferred

Marketing experience in education publishing or ed-tech

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience

2+ years of marketing experience

Experience writing and editing marketing materials

Experience coordinating and communicating with multiple collaborators at varying levels of an organization

Experience marketing elementary literacy programs, preferably core curriculum

Develop working knowledge of internal image database, metadata, and naming conventions.

5+ years of experience working with cameras, lighting, and other photography equipment.

In-house studio photography/videography experience is preferred.

Experience shooting product, landscape, event and business lifestyle photography.

Strong administrative and organizational skills.

Shoot in-house, high-resolution product photos and videos within tight deadlines.

Solid knowledge of DSLR cameras, modern lighting equipment, printing processes, keen attention to detail and troubleshooting skills

Merge excellent photography skills with appropriate colors, typography and layout to communicate ideas that inspire, inform, and captivate our audience

A strong portfolio of past professional experience in product photography and graphic design in either a freelance or professional role

A creative and skilled eye for composition, lighting, and effects to make our products shine

Understand print production requirements. Ensure accuracy of design files and prepare for pre-press

As a Product Marketing Manager, You Will

Drive the effectiveness of positioning, launch, demand, and adoption of our supplier platform and programs

Define partner segments and personas across the entire buyer and partner success journey

Own and drive strategic marketing initiatives including messaging and multi-channel campaigns focused on driving registrations, engagement, and retention

Create content including email campaigns that help drive user activation and engagement

Showcase proactive problem-solving abilities by spotting potential challenges in workflow or processes and using critical thinking to suggest practical solutions

Manage an extensive photo library with a cloud workflow

4-8 years of experience in photography, encompassing expertise in lighting, composition, and technical production principles

Experience photographing accessories such as handbags and jewelry is a plus

Perform digital capture tasks, which encompass file naming, corrections, uploading, logging, and archiving

Maintain a high level of productivity in capturing and processing images, ensuring timely delivery of final photos within designated deadlines

Responsible for resizing and uploading to Brandfolder or other digital asset management software

Videography skills can also be developed and utilized for all projects

Strong visual skills, attention to detail and an eye for consistency and color

Strong knowledge in both natural and studio lighting

Team Structure: Small team working directly with social media manager, Creative Director, CEO, and other external stakeholders

Post-photography production includes editing (or communicating with outsourced editors), color correction, and naming

2+ years of photography and/or graphic design experience.

Experienced in product photography, still photography, and 360 images.

Manage all aspects of product photography including shooting still images and 360 images, removing backgrounds, and creating final files for production.

Manage and maintain accurate product photography libraries.

Experience with shooting in various styles including lifestyle photography and events.

Must own hand and power tools and have the experience and mechanical aptitude to build outdoor recreation and home fitness equipment

Image file management and organization

Knowledge of, and practical experience with professional photography equipment, studio lighting practices, and professional lighting equipment.

Perform in a production-based environment while partnering with product line managers and digital imaging assistants.

Driven and can independently manage and maintain individual workflow.

2 years’ experience in photo studio environment preferred.

Superb communication skills, both verbal and written.

Superior organizational and time management skills

Familiarity with Asana project management platform is preferred

Own and manage tasking out high volume vendor provided product image batches for retouching

3-5 years experience in ecommerce focused product photography

3-5 years product retouching experience

Expert knowledge of Capture One and Adobe creative suite (Lightroom, Photoshop).
