Private Markets Client Reporting Analyst Jobs

Partner with team members on market analysis tasks (e.g. newsletters/reports), using your data and analytics capabilities to drive the analysis

Monitor competitors, competitive products, and trends to ensure we maintain a leading position in the market - especially regarding data capabilities

Demonstrated interest in data/analytics/artificial intelligence and an understanding of their capabilities and limitations.

Excellent communication skills, with the ability to quickly build rapport with any internal partner or client, regardless of role.

Use data and analytics to solve strategic questions that help to inform product development, competitive positioning, and client strategy

Create new data and AI/ML products that unlock unique insights into private markets

Manage capital formation activities, such as drafting legal documents, launching datarooms and creating marketing materials

Manage fundraising activity across distribution channels

Provide sales with tools that they need, such as content, customized materials and education of the product

Undergraduate degree in economics or finance

Ability to multi-task, team-player attitude and a desire to work on a wide range of projects and manage them effectively

Strong judgment, maturity and critical thinking skills

2+ years of relevant experience in either investment banking, wealth management, venture capital, private equity or hedge funds: (Preferred)

Business Development, Private Equity, Attention to Detail, Commercial Lending, Venture Capital, Strategic Relationships, Business Relationship Management

Ensure completeness, accuracy, and timeliness requirements for CAT reporting.

Financial Industry experience with expertise with the Consolidated Audit Trail (“CAT”) regulatory reporting obligations.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE WE’RE LOOKING FOR

Cover specific multi-channel fundraises and responsible for learning the breadth of the platform across both direct and open architecture offerings.

Talk in some detail about the platform with general knowledge of fund-specific attributes to both internal and external constituents.

Minimum of 1-2 years of prior work experience

Strong quantitative, analytical and problem-solving skills.

Team player, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Interaction with investment managers and prime brokers to resolve questions and reconciliation differences

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Mathematics

2+ years’ experience in accounting/financial services [hedge funds/fund of funds a plus, not required]

Willingness to learn new systems, concepts and broaden knowledge in the industry

Strong organizational skills and detail-oriented

Ability to manage shifting priorities

Liaise with the portfolio management team on managing and executing ad-hoc projects

Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills required; experience with data analysis preferred

Day-to-day liaising with Investment teams, Finance, IT, Operations and Legal

2 - 4 years of post-graduate experience (private equity preferred)

Keen eye for detail and the ability to manage multiple complex tasks

Excellent written, oral and interpersonal communication skills
