Private Daycare Assistant Director Opening Jobs

· Plan and complete activities to stimulate the children’s cognitive skills, abilities and development.

REQUIRED MINIMUM EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND TRANING

· Provide various experiences and activities for children including songs, games and storytelling.

· At least 12 months of child care experience and:

· Attend mandatory meetings and continuing education classes.

· Obtain/maintain CPR certification specific to infants and children.

Must have previous management experience and at least 1 year of experience working in a licensed child care facility.

Must meet state requirements for education and additional center/school requirements may apply.

Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of the program, which include marketing, fund raising and public relations.

Manage and direct a team of team members with supervision.

Oversee program finances and ensure that all expenditures are in keeping with set financial plans.

Minimum of One Year of experience in management in the child care industry

Assists the Director and Owners with the necessary management responsibilities to ensure maximum enrollment and effective cost control

Understands and has strong working knowledge of curriculum, classroom management and health & safety

Minimum of One Year of lead teacher classroom teaching experience in an early childhood center

A Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field; Or Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential

Experience managing a staff of 30+ people
