Principal Faculty – Physician Assistant Program Jobs

Work experience in any educational or administrative capacity

Work alongside TU-PA course faculty to proctor in-person examinations in classrooms and/or auditoriums

Establish speakers to build a comprehensive speakers’ bureau capable of presenting Abiomed’s latest clinical data

Minimum of three (3) years of experience as a Registered Nurse, and

Minimum of three years’ academic administration experience or other significant academic/educational nursing leadership experience.

Aids in planning, advising and assisting faculty members in their educational duties, including course outlines, objectives, exams, clinical instruction, and evaluation.

Supports the planning, coordination and supervising of student’s clinical and didactic evaluations and assists in scheduling students’ academic and clinical experiences.

Eligibility for recertification by the NBCRNA.

Experience developing strong clinical partnerships locally to support the academic programs.

Teaching experience at the graduate level.

3+ years project and/or program management experience on government-funded projects.

Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Knowledge and experience in academic affairs.

Prior experience in a research or research administration environment.

Experience building and managing stakeholder relationships.

Strong leadership, interpersonal and communication skills; strong writing and editing skills; strong organizational skills.

Zero to two years’ experience in instruction or formalized education process, preferably in a post-secondary or college institution.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to build successful relationships with student populations.

Computer based skills (i.e., software, analytical, and report writing skills)

Terminal degree in the field, Master’s required.

Membership in a professional association tied to area of instruction preferred.

Active, unencumbered license in state of residence.

MSW from a Council for Social Work Education (CSWE) accredited program required.

Three to five years teaching experience at the graduate or undergraduate level as appropriate to the program.

A minimum of two years of post-graduate level practice experience required.

Provide course instruction, course content development, and other curricular activities as needed Provide residency instruction

Provide academic advising and mentoring

Promote a social work professional identity with students.
